This is a story I happened to see on FB - I thought it should be of interest to all ...
An elderly Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life . .
He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me, it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One wolf is evil---he is fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, competition, superiority, and ego.
The other is good ---he is joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.
This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too."
They thought about it for a minute, and then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win, Grandfather?"
The Elder simply replied, "The one you feed."

I am sure once people start using it they are going to stick to it. I have now added links to subscribe the blog on to their igoogle. You have a survey; you also have a range of videos from YouTube - where filters are available; Blog of a Boozer - which lists the eateries and pubs in and around Calicut; Foods of Kerala, etc. and any more can be added to our blog.
This is one thing, which I have found very useful to spend one's time effectively. You join some of the blogs - and you remain updated of the developments - and it is absolutely FREE.
I am there in over 100+ blogs and have my own blog, besides KVK1977. The URL is http://knowall2009.blogspot.com. Its a community of Knowledge Management Professionals. It was only last month that I had removed lot of junks and reposted a few good thoughts. Do visit and give your comments on that.

Ru was complaining I will not be here for Xmas... which is important for us....as he is a Xtian. they have to do without meeeee. I had a long chat with Ammu. It was great to have her back. We were family in Muscat.... Not a day passed we didnt see each other. My house was her home too. A long lost sis is back to our midst. Its a real pleasure to have her back. Did talk to Jyothi too. It was a nice chat. This means so much to me......Thanks guys who made this possible. And Dr. Girish u ve one patient already..just need some tips from u. Bye guys n gals.......till v meet again.

ReplyDeleteIn spite of having such a good platform (that's what I feel!!), I don't understand why people are not posting their views and comments here. We all have been banking too much on Gmail. It's very difficult to track messages on gmail. Yesterday I was trying to update the list of members - but searching for mob number, opening and closing mails, ate away my time. Please start posting on this BLOG.

ReplyDeleteThis is a new Tactic from the Antartic - if i comment here or there it's still possible that all our gng might still manage to conveniently and connivingly 'miss'. I'm trying to outdo their Arctic based tactic, by being conspicuously present in every label.
